The 13th Annual Greenwich Concours d’Elegance took place on Saturday June 7th and Sunday June 8th, 2008 in Greenwich, Connecticut. Saturday brought American cars of all marques from turn of the century to modern day sports cars. Sunday brought the best and the brightest of the imports in the sports, touring and competition classes. Raising money for the charity Americares the Concours really is an important automobile event.

Some of the highlights of the show included the 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster, 1981 BMW M1, 1958 Ferrari 250 Tour de France, Coupe, 1992 Porsche USA Carrera Cup Coupe and the 1952 Porsche 356 Supercoupe. These were not official results, but more Sportscar Advisor’s subjective favorites.

Sunny weather brought out car enthusiasts and some of the the very best concours level cars in the northeast region.

The best part of a true Concours such as Greenwich, CT is that participation promotes the preservation of classic and collectible automobiles that may otherwise be lost to time and neglect.
