New England Concours d’Elegance – Day 1 at Hemmings & Rally
The Second Annual New England Concours d’Elegance kicked off at noon on Friday, July 18th at Hemmings Motor News’ Headquarters in Bennington, Vermont with a general attendee cruise-in. By 1PM, a smattering of classic American cars, muscle cars, and European classics and sports cars filled the back parking-lot of Hemmings. After viewing and chatting each other up, attendees were invited to lunch mid-day and popcorn at the museum.
At 3pm cruise-in cars lined up for the Green Mountain Rally to go up historic Route 7A through covered bridges from Bennington to Manchester and on to Stratton Mountain where Saturday’s major cruise-in, and Sunday’s Concours were held.
Following are pictures of the cars at the Hemmings headquarters from Day 1 along with a brief video of cars leaving the lot to head out on the rally. Enjoy!
