Winslow Car Show for Charity, Warwick NY (2008)
On Sunday August 24th, 2008 local collector car enthusiasts came out to Warwick, New York for a car show to raise money for the Winslow Riding Center, a local not for profit organization that runs a therapeutic horseback riding center for riders with disabilities.
Modern sports, muscle and vintage collector cars of all makes and models came to the event. There was even a small area for historic motorcycles to park and join in on the fun. It turned out to be a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and huge amounts of money raised for this great cause. Sports Car Advisors brought out 2 cars this day so we shared in the contributions 😉
Following are some of the photos from the day:
Lotus Elise:
Porsche Speedster (custom):
German Sports Cars – Porsche 930 Turbo and BMW E30 M3:
Acura NSX:
Porsche 356:
Pontiac GTO:
Muscle Cars abound. This one one of the nicest classic muscle cars at the Winslow car show:
Indian Motorcycle: a true classic bike.
Sports Car Advisors would like to thank the Winslow staff (and Harold for making us aware of the event) as well as friends of the Winslow center for putting together a really enjoyable car show. So many gorgeous classic cars for such a great cause! Can’t beat that!
We hope that a similar show will be held in the summer of 2009!
