It is driven an average of only 5000 miles a year. This 6.9 is always stored in a climate controlled garage, only driven on nice days/weekends and no kids or smoke in the car. Built in February of 1980, this is one of the last 6.9s ever built, in a run of only 7,380 units. This is one of the first production cars with Anti-Lock (ABS) Brakes and it’s large V8 motor with near 280 horsepower will rocket you smoothly up to 150MPH in a jiffy.
An attractive, accurate and detailed high-quality paint job was done back in 2002 and still shines like new. The tan cloth interior is in near mint condition. There are no rips or tears and it’s clean and odor free. The wheels are 16″ BBS wheels in good condition and the tires have lots of tread left. The Air Conditioning has been converted to R134 and works well. This is a true collectible and certain to turn heads due to the glamorous and classic looks of this well-cared for, rare Mercedes Benz.
